We offer a selection of torsion springs with legs of equal length oriented at varying unloaded angles. Torsion springs can store and release angular energy or statically hold a mechanism in place by deflecting the legs about the body center-line axis. They offer resistance to twist or rotation-ally applied force. A spring of this type will reduce in body diameter and increase slightly in body length when deflected in the preferred direction of the fabricated wind. Depending on the application, torsion springs can be designed to work in a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, thus determining the direction of the wind. Common torsion springs are those used in a clothes pin or a garage door.
Spiral torsion springs provide resistance to an angular load applied externally to a hook and internally from a post. Common applications include stamped hinge sets, seat recliner mechanisms, handle, lever or switch return, and cam/pawl interaction. When it comes to spiral springs and clock springs, We are equipped to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
We stock the largest inventory of high-grade, straight, cylindrical-shaped compression springs in Malaysia. A compression spring is an open-coil helical spring that offers resistance to a compression force applied axially. They are usually coiled at a constant diameter, though they can be coiled in other needed forms such as conical, concave (barrel), convex (hourglass), or various combinations of these. Compression springs are used to resist force and/or store energy, depending upon the application. All our compression springs are fabricated from round wire.
